In Movement has accomplished a great deal to date. We need your support to continue our mission.
Below is a summary of our activities as of 2010:
• 67 months of work in the field
• 1,500 students from seven orphanages/primary schools in Kampala have taken part
• More than 5,000 hours of art classes, cultural activities and special events
• 6 public students performances and art exhibitions for the larger community in Kampala
• Approximately 15 local teachers, paid and trained by In Movement
• Hosted and collaborated with numerous local and international volunteers
• Joint activities with New York University, Rainbow International School of Kampala, Power of Hope, Partnership for Youth Empowerment, French School of Kampala, and several invited international artists
• An art center designed, built and owned by In Movement
• 6 short movies and hundreds of hours of video and photographic documentation of In Movement activities
